Antivirus Live – Living Up To Its Sole Purpose Of Destruction

There is an ever increasing trend – the creating of fake security applications and the distribution of it in a misleading and deceitful manner.
Antivirus Live is the latest of these type rogue applications that is following the trend in full force. Designed to deceive, mislead and coerce, Antivirus Live is definitely NOT to be trusted, downloaded, installed or even tolerated.
Antivirus Live, also known as AntivirusLive, and is the latest rogue anti-spyware application (in other words: a fake spyware remover).
Being a replica of Antivirus System Pro, this malware application, Antivirus Live, attempts to trick and coerce computer users into purchasing its licensed version by making use of intimidation tactics via fake threats and more.
Antivirus Live will infiltrate a computer system by using Trojans, such as the infamous Zlob or Vundo, however it not uncommon for Antivirus Live to enter a system by way of a manual download or via manual installation.
Once inside and active, Antivirus Live will bombard the user with pop-up messages and fake system notifications, supposedly to inform the user of multiple threats present on their system.
Antivirus Live will try to reassure its claims by providing falsified system scan reports. These scan results should NEVER be trusted! Antivirus Live is also likely to hijack the user’s browser (homepage, searches), and redirect the user to various sites of dubious nature.
I order to rid your system of this dubious tool, I suggest you follow the instructions below:
1. Antivirus Live alters the Internet Explorer settings, in order to make use of a proxy server that will prevent you from browsing any pages on the Internet. Therefore, if you only have Internet Explorer installed, you will first need to fix this problem, in order to download the utilities needed to remove Antivirus Live. If another browser is already installed, then you can skip to step 2 to proceed with the removal instructions. I still advise that you do all of these steps to ensure Internet Explorer works at its optimum.

2. As shown in screenshot above, you should be in the Internet options screen.

3. Click on the >Connections< tab (as shown in screen shot above – with blue arrow depicting designated tab)
4. Next click on >LAN setting<, (as shown by blue arrow in image above).
5. Once in Local Area Network setting screen, Under the >Proxy Server< section, uncheck the checkbox labeled >Use a proxy server for your LAN<. Then press the >OK< button to close this screen. Then press the >Apply< button and then the >OK< button to close the Internet Options screen. You have now disabled the proxy server, and should be able to browse the web again, using Internet Explorer.

6. Before anything else, the Antivirus Live processes will need to be stopped – so as not to let it interfere with the cleaning up processes. Firstly, one will need to download the following file to your system’s desktop:
Should you not be able to download the link above, you will need to retrace your steps and redo steps 1-6.
7. Once downloaded, it is advised to close all open programs on the system, and install Spyhunter onto your system.
As soon as Spyhunter is installed, it will run a full system scan, and will then provide instructions on how to fully remove Antivirus Live and all its components from your system.
Whatever you do, do not just leave Antivirus Live to run rampant on your computer system, as its presence will only cause damage and possible system failure to any system it has infiltrated.
