Beware Of Facebook Phishing Scam
The latest scam involves none other than the Facebook social networking site. This time there is a phishing attack that 
claims that you have won 200,000,000 from “Zynga Special Gifts”. You will see elements which display itself from the real Texas Holdem Poker application from facebook. You will see a pop up box which looks authentic.
The next thing which happens is that you will see a mini picture of your head and Texas holdem will ask for permission in order to access your information. You need to be aware of the factor that everything will appear extremely convincing. Once you have clicked the pop up the rest of the scam will follow.
You will see “Welcome to Winners Circle”, which comes with a request for your email, password and false verification code in to prove that you are a real winner. The moment that you enter your information into the data box and hit the button which says:”claim gifts”, your information will automatically go to the malicious online criminals.
You may land on the following webpage which says the following:
“Warning, the website that directed you here was not a Facebook page. If you entered your Facebook login information on the previous site, you will need to reset your password”. This is part of the scam.
Do not fall for any scams on Facebook which claims that you have won anything as it is all just one big scam which has been designed in order to steal your information. Once malicious criminals have access to your information the sky is literally the limit.
