BIOS Beep Code and How to Solve the Problem

BIOS is actually a short output/input system which has been created in order to be the first time run by the computer when it is turned on. The real reason why BIOS exists is in order identify, test as well as initialize hardware on the computer, as video card display, memory on the machine etc.

The main thing to know is that when the computer powered on the computer is going to have a singular been which will then continue to start normally, but if there is a hardware problem you will see that is no beep or even a beep code which is generated. The beep code in general is able to make the user aware of the problem.

The BIOS types may include but are not limited to the following: AMI BIOS, AWARD, IBM and PHOENIX.

IF error appear after added new hardware remove that hardware to make sure is not the causing the issues. If after removing the hardware and your computer work your computer not compatible with the ne hardware.
Remove the Disk, CD/DVD, floppy and USB device (if any) from the motherboard and then reboot your computer, if you not hear a beep error re-connect each device one at a time boot your computer again. It’s to determine the device and/or cable that causing the issue.
Make sure all fans on the computer run properly. If a fan has failed your computer could be overheating. The failed fan can cause the computer not to boot.
Remove all card such as video card, LAN card, sound card or other and put one card at a time until you determine what card a causing the issue.
If the fourth methods above does not work check the power supply or/and motherboard.

If you have done all of those things and something is still wrong the chances may be that you need to change your computer components or even that your motherboard may be faulty.
