Block process in Windows – Stop programs running automatically
April 23, 2009 Computer Tips And Tricks
Process Blocker is one of the best programs released recently which allows you to block any program in Windows
which has an associated executable to run.
FIX:
In order to block any process with process blocker, you will need to append the name of the associated executable file name the list.txt file at the following path:
C:\Program Files\Process Blocker
After adding the process name to the file list.txt, you will need to restart the process blocker service. In order to do so, follow steps below:
1.   Right-click on My Computer, select Manage>Services and Applications>Services now locate Process Blocker Service.
2.   Right-click Process Blocker, select restart so that it can block the process executable you just added.
You are now done.

Hi, good post. I have been pondering this issue,so thanks for writing. I’ll definitely be subscribing to your site.
Hi, I’m using process blocker, but all i want is a program which able to block process by checking handle name. Process blocker only block program name. In the case program name changes, it can’t be block again. So if it block handle name, although program name changes, handle name wouldn’t. Could you suggest me a program with that nature?
I could suggest you Spyhunter Antispyware software
Why can’t I play it?
I have found a good program to block processes and libraries. Process Blocker doesn’t block processes, it checks processes list periodically and kills blocked. Launch Control for Windows blocks and allows all executables what you want but the program is shareware.

Try Launch Control for Windows. It blocks module by it’s hash.
And it’s much better then process blocker.
