Can one function in the World Wide Web without Google?
Do you think you would be able to cope with internet activities without the use of any of Google’s’ services? Will you be 
able to sustain your online persona, efficient and all, sans the help of your trusty web source: Google?
In a world where nothing is guaranteed – not even the prevalence and ongoing nature of Google’s services, one needs to ensure you know all the viable alternatives – should Google for some chance become obsolete or crash, or just simply to have a healthy alternative.
Below is a list of legitimate and viable alternatives to each Google service offered.
- Search:
This is easily accomplished without the aid of Google, by utilizing an Internet Browser that does NOT have Google as the default search engine. A good substitute would be either Bing or Yahoo search, Which are both equally extensive
- E-mail:
For those individuals that have been using Gmail for a while now – it is quite possible to simply forward Gmail to an alternative free-based email, for example Yahoo – this way making emailing just as possible as before.

Very good news for us as consumers, as it levels out the playing field and increases the way in which ideas and creativity regarding the design, implementation and gradual follow through of each internet service is. As the competition increases, so does innovation and in doing so – more and more features will become avail to us the computer user, helping and aiding us in our daily tasks – whatever they may be.
So – top sum it all up – Yes, life without Google is highly possible, and in some cases possibly preferable!
