The Facebook fad is far from over, infact, if anything, it is only gaining in popularity, those who have not been on baord
until now are scrambling to get their accounts active and running.
Bearing this in mind, one can agree that this tidbit of information will come well in handy – for all trusty FB followers.
Facebookers will be pleased to hear that there is now a simple and easy way to download photographs uploaded by friends and family.
In order to save an entire album by simply clicking on once… you will need to download the FREE Firefox add-on, namely, the Facebook Photo Album Downloader. Also referred to as FacePAD.
Regardless of how big or small the photo album size is, FacePAD will enable all facebook users to download the facebook photo album , no problem – all at the click of the mouse – and presto – album is downloaded.
Originally written for Firefox 2, FacePAD has luckily been upgraded to include compatibility with Firefox 3 as well as the updated version of Facebook.
Once you have downloaded the FacePAD application, you will immedaiteyl be able to download full phto albums from Facebook. Simply go to the desired photo album, the one you would liek to download locally, right click on the album, and select the option: “Download Album with FacePAD”.
Once you have selected this tab, you will see the photos will begin to download the the default location set for Firefox downloads.
One thing to watch out for however, is the fact that FacePAD does NOT download the photographs as one folder, so the destination location might be cluttered with a bunch of photo’s, you may want to select the default location when downloading as a folder, and continue this way.
Facebooking has never been easier!
