Following The Twitter Growth
February 25, 2010 Computer News
We can all remember when Twitter was starting out, it almost seemed like it was never going to get anywhere. The idea
of updating what you are doing right now started to grow on people as time progressed. The number of tweets per day has escalated dramatically and according to the latest statistics, it has been claimed that Twitter is now on fifty million tweets per day. This means that according to the latest statistics there is officially a remarkable six hundred tweets per second, all over the internet.
The truth is that although there is an amount of six hundred tweets per second, the full reach of these messages is actually a much higher number. This is attributed to the factor that these messages are actually delivered to multiple followers every single moment of the day. Last year Google was interested in getting a piece of this successful tweeting social networking site. Now it is allegedly been brought to our attention that Yahoo and Twitter are emerging together in order to bring you some wonderful online benefits.
The overall success of Twitter is growing every day at an alarming rate. In the year 2007, people were only tweeting 5000 time per day on average. By 2008 the following year, that amount had increased to a remarkable three hundred thousand. That is nothing in comparison to the amounts of tweets that were taking place by the year 2009, which was a fantastic 2, 5 million tweets per day. Now today as things stand we have reached over fifty million tweets per day, which averages to over six hundred tweets per second.
It will be fascinating to watch the growth of Twitter this year as well as to see how the arrangement between Twitter and Yahoo progresses. It has been claimed that people will be able to find relevant tweets within Yahoo. Yahoo is also rumored to be able to actually construct special Twitter clients into their properties. This will result in it being easier for the general public to tweet anywhere where they feel comfortable within the entire Yahoo network.
Twitters integration with Yahoo compromises of three main components. Inclusive in these components is the being able to actually access Twitter feeds from anywhere within the entire world, being able to sent Twitter updates from Yahoo as well as Real Time public Twitter updates within Search and other Media properties. The future of Twitter is going to be an interesting one and only time will tell what 2010 has in store for Twitter.

Hey, Good post about Twitter. I think Twitter is going to be one of the stronger networks because of the fact that it is supported by so many industries. I also think when Twitter reveals some of it’s new functions, returning traffic will increase to show the real growth of the network. Keep up the good work!
