Googling With Google Chrome Is More Popular Than Apple Safari!

The browser wars have been taking place for a while now. People are continuously debating which browser is better to use. Different people have different opinions, as well as the factor that the ordinary computer user may view a browser very differently from that of a computer professional who works in the field. It is fascinating to know that Google Chrome was only released 18 months ago, yet is now the third most popular browser in the entire world. Google Chrome beat the Apple Safari browser which has been around our online world for a much longer period of time as opposed to the Google Chrome browser. There is the beta release of Google Chrome which can be used for the Mac as well as for the Linux operating systems. This may be one of the reasons why it is part of Chromes biggest market share, which has a 0,7% increase, since its initial release.

The figures for Google Chrome are 4.46% in comparison to the figures for Apple Safari which are 4.63%. Who knew when Google Chrome was first released that it would become so popular amongst so many computer users? As for the well known Opera browser it has reached a high of 2.4% of all browsers, while the Mozilla Firefox browser is currently at 24.6% of the market. Only time will be able to tell us and show us what will happen in the future with regard to browser statistics.

An alarming factor to take into consideration is that the Internet Explorer browser is declining dramatically. It is currently only left with 62.7% of the market. However it may be fascinating to know that IE8 has actually become the most popular Internet Explorer browser. This may be attributed to the capability view that has emerged. Whoever would have imagined that in the year 2010, Firefox and Chrome would start to take over and become major competition to Microsoft?

Only the future will tell what the browser world has in store for us. The chances are high that Google chromes market share may rise due to the factor that it is becoming an increasingly popular browser. The great aspect with regard to Google Chrome is that it has been able to bring in both themes as well as plugins, which don’t slow down the entire browser. It has a very clean and functional interface which appeals to many of the Google Chrome users worldwide.
