How to configure Automatic Updates in Windows XP

We will show you how to configure Automatic Updates in Windows XP to keep your PC up date. There are a lot of firewall_icon__gant_style_by_amniosdesignvulnerabilities found in an Operating System on a daily basis, and it’s good to know that you are protected.

1.    Click  “Start” button, right click on “My Computer” and click on “Properties”. This will bring up a window titled “System Properties”.
2.    In the “System Properties” window, go to the “Automatic Updates” tab. Select “Automatic”.
3.    Now use the first drop down box to pick what day you want Automatic Updates to run.
4.    Now use the second drop box to pick what times you want Automatic Updates to run.
5.    Finally, click on “Apply” and then “OK”.
