How to Remove the AVG Error

Have you ever experienced the following error message when you click on Internet Explorer?”"Access Violation at Address 6CB616B7 in module ‘AVGT00~1.DLL. Read of address 00000004″?

The reason for this message is due to the factor that some of your installation files are actually corrupt. The fundamental problem is that you AVG upgrade didn’t go according to plan. The trick is to be able to get rid of this irritating message as soon as possible.

The real goal of this is to be able to uninstall the old version and install a brand new version that works well and is not corrupt. After you have proceeded to uninstall AVG, you need to go to AVG.com and download a new version. It is suggested to download the latest version if you can. Remember that the latest versions with any software usually is an improvement on previous additions which may have contained errors or faults.

Now in order to remove the old AVG effectively you will need to uninstall AVG in the correct manner.You can do this by going to ADD/REMOVE programs which is menu in the control panel.

You will need to Open AVG, and disable the Resident Shield; be sure to save this in the AVG user interface. Reboot and close the AVG program if you see it after reboot in the system tray. Once again, try to uninstall the program.

If for some reason you receive error messages, don’t despair because this is normal. At the end of the day, the main goal is for you to get rid of the fault AVG version and replace it with a brand new version that has no faults. If you really are struggling and don’t feel secure about doing this alone, you can always get a computer friend to help you or to sit with you while you are conducting the process. Antivirus and software protection is important so make sure that you have a decent fixed version up to date and running on your computer system at all times.
