Inside News Into Google Chrome’s OS Netbook
It is exciting to know that according to latest news insiders, Google Chrome will be releasing its own unique and 
specialized netbook.This is going to be Google Chrome’s OS Net book which will actually contain a certain host of built in security technologies which have been designed in order to safeguard users from various malicious online threats. Google is planning to actually release a consumer version later on in the year. The business version which will feature more management elements should be out in two thousand and eleven.
According to Will Dewry who is a Google software security engineer it was said that:”the fact that the company’s Chrome OS is an open source project allows for constant feedback from developers regarding security design. This, he said, should reassure those acquiring a Google Netbook about the product’s security.”
It has been claimed that all of the net book products pertaining to Google will actually be shipped with the Trusted Platform module.(TPM),which will be installed for various security in key storage as well as multifactor authentication within the future. According to Dewry it will also contain a “trusted bootpath”
The TPM is actually an industry standard hardware module which is based upon architecture from the industry of Forum Trusted Computing Group. According to Dewry:”The auto-updating and sandbox features are intended to reduce exposure to malware, and Chrome OS will even help you with “safe browsing” because if you stumble upon a website known to contain malware, you’ll be warned”, he said.
These net books are going to be very exciting to keep eyes on. The first net book is going to be released at a later stage during this year. It is actually intended for usage by consumers. Another interesting factor to take into consideration is that Google is currently attempting to develop a different version which is geared for the enterprise. It is said that it is going to contain specific functionality especially with regard to management that the majority of businesses may prefer.
