As with all good things in life, there is always the counterpart – which is not so good. In the case of emails – which we 
can all agree is a great invention, which none of us could imagine having to go without 0- in this digital era – well, emails’ negative counterpart happens to be: Spam mail!
Although, one might assume that Spam mail is pretty harmless, one simply needs to click on the “Remove Me” button, which will then remove you from the mailing list of these spam messages – right?
WRONG! Don’t be fooled!
Spam emails, specifically the ones which you have NOT opted in for, will only tamper with your Internet Security, and the so-called ‘opt out’ buttons will only send a message to a remote controller – saying that your email is a valid one… also in the same light – should you reply to any of these spam mails, the same result will occur – your e-mail address will be assumed to be a valid email address and will let the hacker know that your system is ready for some serious settings alterations, and there you go, your systems’ performance depletion begins.
If you only take one lesson from this article, always remember – never opt out of Spam emails, especially the ones you have never opted in for!
