Repairing a broken Word Document that cannot be opened

You have possibly experienced your word document word is broken and cannot be opened 
furthermore you don’t have a file back-up for the file. If this is you, don’t panic, this solution can assist to return the file.
- Open Microsoft Word program then click menu “File-Open” (for Microsoft Word 97-2003), for Microsoft Word 2007 click “Office Button-Open”.
- Select the broken document.
- Click down arrow in the right side of Open button (Red rectangle – see picture below) then click “Open and Repair”.
- The damaged file will now open
