Seaches For “Raoul Moat” Have Been Tampered With!
The latest story which is circulated around the news is in connection with a person who goes by the name of Raoul Moat.
It has been created that he pops up in article searches with various titles. Some of these titles may include but are not limited to the following:
“Timeline of a gun rampage” as well as “there are more armed police walking around than you can shake a very large stick at.”
If we look at this from a computer security perspective you may notice that friends which belong to the Black hat SEO Poison brigade are actually going as far as tampering with the Google image results in order to add malicious links to some of the images. If you take a look for yourself at what Google comes up with if you do a search for “Raoul Moat”, within Google images you will see what results are generated.
You need to know that currently all the images searches which come from the top line of the Google Image Search will actually redirect your browser to serveradobe.co.cc.You will then get a false message which asks you to “install this”, from the malicious website. It will then attempt to download a specific file which goes by the name of V11_adobe_flash.exe.
VirusTotal has come up with 1/41 detecting it. It has also been detected as VirTool.Win32.Obfuscator.hg!b (v).Basically you need to be aware of this and until the issue has been resolved it is better for you to take computer security seriously especially with regard to image searches which contain the words:Raoul Moat”.
