Things you should know about Security Sphere
September 30, 2011 Computer Safety Tip
Security Sphere 2012 comes from an infamous family of rogue antispyware and it is able to trick unsuspecting users into
believing that their computers are under attack, and they have a handful of parasites to deal with it. However, the only threat that the users should be wary of is Security Sphere 2012 itself. This rogue antispyware product will rob you before you know it, and therefore you must remove Security Sphere 2012 from your system once you have a chance to.
The removal of the program will go a lot smoother if you enter the following code into Security Sphere 2012’s registration box:
8945315-6548431
This code tricks the rogue into “thinking” that you have bought the license and the light pink interface changes into a blue one, which is supposed to mean that your computer is no longer infected. Unfortunately, even if Security Sphere 2012 tells you, that everything is alright after you have used the activation code, the rogue is still there in you system, so technically you are still infected. What is more, after a while Security Sphere 2012 can start acting up again, and you will be bound to suffer from a secondary flood of fake security alert messages, such as:
Warning: Your computer is infected
Detected spyware infection!
Click this message to install the last update of security software…Security Sphere 2012 Warning
Your computer is still infected with dangerous viruses. Activate antivirus protection to prevent data loss and avoid theft of your credit card details.
On top of that, Security Sphere 2012 can also easily block your exe files and as a result you will not be able to run any of your favorite programs. According to Security Sphere 2012, the blocked programs are infected and they need to be closed in order to prevent the infection from spreading further. Needless to say, that it is very far from truth. Security Sphere 2012 only wants you to believe that you are infected, so that you would pay for the license. However, were you to do so, you would reveal your financial information to third parties and then you would lose all of your money.
Do not allow this to happen. Terminate Security Sphere 2012 at the very first stages of the infection with a reliable security tool, if you cannot do it manually, and then do not forget to perform regular system scans, to prevent any possible infections in the future.
