Troubleshooting: Windows 7 not going into sleep mode?
So, you have just installed your new and improved version of Microsoft Windows – yes – Windows 7, and low and

6. Next – adjust all settings according to your preferences and click on >Ok<
7. Select >Save changes< and restart the computer.
Should your sleep mode still not be fully operational, then simply try resetting your Power Options to default.

3. Next, select >Change plan settings< under the >Balanced< option
4. Click the >Restore default settings for this plan< link, then select >Yes< when the power options prompt window pops up.

6. Restart your computer.
