January 26, 2009 Windows 7 Tips
Windows 7 (formerly known as Blackcomb and Vienna) is the working name of the next major version of
Microsoft Windows as the successor to Windows Vista. Microsoft has proclaimed that it’s “scoping Windows 7 development to a three-year timeframe”, and that “specific release date will ultimately be determined by meeting the quality bar.” Windows 7 is expected to be released sometime in 2010. The client versions of Windows 7 will ship in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. A server alternative, codenamed Windows Server 7, is also under development.
Microsoft, which has brought us many diverse operating systems from Windows 3.0 to Windows XP, is maintaining a policy of silence concerning discussion of plans and objectives for Windows 7.
As soon as Windows 7 has been released, this Windows 7 website will provide as many Windows 7 tips, hints, tricks and other Windows 7 advice as is possible to provide useful information about the new Windows platform to as many Windows 7 users as possible.
